I explained that there was a bit of hesitation on my part because I had owned my Mini longer than any other car and was attached to it but when I saw the Countryman online it was love at first site...kind of looked like my Mini just all grown up. I factory ordered my Countryman. One compliment to him and the dealership: The car came in listing for $250 more than the configurator estimated due to the required flat load floor with the no cost rear bench seat. Most dealers would have had the customer pay this difference, or split the cost. Christian and Crevier stuck to the previously agreed upon price, without any discussion.     "I brought my car in for a rattling noise and the techs found that it was a timing belt. It took several days to find this problem and it had many delays, the part that had to be ordered and I understand such hindrances to complete the service, but after the part arrived it took almost a week to get it fixed, these delays were not very well communicated to me, and I had to initiate many of the calls. The cost of the fix was $2,700 and in addition after I took possession of the car my the car stalled at a gas station the following day and I had to call a service truck to attempt to jump start the car. The jump did not work and I had to call your dealer and arrange the car to be picked up. I take my car to your dealership because of the service and with the principle that you will do a good job. I pay the premium that your dealer charges with this expectation. The disruption on my time and aggravation with this service is simply unacceptable. However, I paid for my car to be cleaned of broken glass and found about ten pieces of glass in my car moments after sitting in it in the driveway of Crevier. I was expecting a great car wash (as part of the service I was promised when I bought the car), and my backseat wasn't vacuumed.     "First of all, there needs to be a better effort between Crevier (local dealers) and the national Mini website with regards to prices. I purchased roof racks, bike holders, and the installation at a price through the national site that didn't match with Crevier--the installation price wasn't calculated although I opted for it in checkout. Secondly, and most importantly, the bike holders were installed BACKWARDS!     "Although, I would rather not visit your dealership so often (nothing personal, just means the car needs something= $$) The service staff, Marshall Jung always makes it pleasant and enjoyable. There is something I would like to point out though, after picking up the vehicle on Saturday morning, the turn signal function, left or right does not make the short 3-blink function anymore, just the permanent one or it just makes 1 blink then stops. The repairs done on the car had nothing to do with this function, but did not work properly after picking up, but was fine before.     "I just paid $887.25 for a water pump replacement and 3 quarts of oil. Mini Customer Satisfaction (tel 800 831 1117) declined to repay me because the 2007 car was out of warranty. Now I find Mini has issued a recall on my car for replacement of a faulty water pump that can damage the turbocharger. My car now burns oil (3 quarts) far more than it did a year ago. The tailpipes are now heavily coated with oil soot, more than they used to be. I believe my turbocharger bearings have been damaged and are burning excessive oil. I expected more from BMW. I want repayment for replacement of a recalled water pump and no-charge repairs of the turbocharger, or its bearings, or whatever else was damaged because of the water pump failure.     "Jackie, I was very unhappy with my recent visit. I waited 40 minutes for my loaner car. I had gone to the loaner desk three time asking what the holdup was and the only answer I kept hearing was "you are next". I was quite frustrated (missed my work meeting) and dissatisfied with the lack of understanding and sense of urgency from the LAZY staff! Another disappointing moment was when I saw my bill. I had no idea labor and the "Standard Scope" was at another fee! My fault for signing the document basically agreeing to the charge but I honestly did not see that when Kyle handed me to document. He said the oil change was going to be $146, or something like that! I will never ever return to your facility for any services again. The fees you charge are ridiculous; the customer service at the loaner desk was a complete turn off as well. I will not purchase my next car from your facility nor refer anybody there.
