1.0"I originally told the salesperson I would need to send a bank check for the deposit after I returned home as I am from out of state and was buying this car for my daughter. The salesperson told me I could write a postdated check. After an extremely long wait to sign the contract, the finance person told me I could not post date the check but they would be able to hold the check till whatever date I gave them. Which would be about three days later as I was leaving the next day. After I returned home, I received an email from this same person telling me they cannot accept out of state personal checks and could I please wire them the $10,000 deposit. Shouldn't this person have already known this? The wire transfer cost me an extra $70 which I am extremely unhappy about. The one thing that I would have appreciated, would have been a call from the Service Department to inform me that my car would need to be kept, for additional service beyond the one day initially stated. At the end of the business day, I called the service department, spoke with my service advisor, Kyle, and he informed me that it would not be ready as of Saturday night. That my car would be ready on Monday. Also, I felt as though the girl at the checkout on Monday was a bit on the rude side. She seemed displeased when I arrived and asked for my car. She told me that altough I had been contacted a couple of hours prior to tell me that my car was ready, my service advisor had not printed out the paperwork, and therefore was asked to wait until called upon. **** Please not however, that when I brought my car in on Saturday, it was a last minute service appointment with no prior scheduling on my part. I realized I had a bad front left tire, called Crevier, and you guys fit me in. Which I do truely appreciate. 2.0"I've been coming to this dealership for 4 years and now that the MINI dealership & service center is separated from BMW the service has just gone down hill. I've visited the new MINI lot twice now. I wasn't impressed the first time, but just shrugged it off, but this last visit really makes me not want to come back or refer my friends there, which I used to do. On my last visit I was just shocked at how unprofessional the girls at the loan counter were. There were 2 girls at the counter and they both waited seconds before even looking at me. They were just talking casually while making me wait and then while one of the girls helped me the two of them continued to talk about personal stuff while I stood there. Both girls had no personality or made it seem like they were "willing" to help. They didn't even "look" professional, wearing casual clothes and sweatshirts. I was also disappointed in my service rep, he is always more than nice when I come in, but on this last visit I never received a call to say that my vehicle was ready. He stated that he tried to call, but he couldn't get through and that he called several times. I had my phone off for maybe about 5 minutes earlier in the day, but other than that my phone was on and working. I don't feel like he tried to call me again at a later time or did he bother to send me an email to try to reach me. After I called the dealership the next day to see if my vehicle would be done soon then I was told it had been ready since the day before. Since I had to pick up the vehicle a day later I had to take off work to be able to drop the loaner car off in time, which costs me money. I brought my car in for service this Friday, April 5th. Kyle was my service advisor. He was engaging, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I brought my husband's car in for service on Monday, April 8. (We both love our Mini's.) I dealt with Kyle again. Again, he was professional and friendly. Kyle made a point to keep me informed of what was going on. He also gave me an accurate estimate on when the car would be ready. When I picked up the car, I was pleasantly surprised when Kyle greeted me by name. He has excellent customer service and I will make sure to ask for him whenever my cars need to be brought in for service. I really cut it close to closing time when I dropped off the loaner car and picked up my husband's car. I think it was 8 minutes to closing. No one made me feel rushed, which I appreciate. It isn't always easy to deal with that last minute customer. I didn't get the cashier's name, but she was also, to overuse the word, friendly. Then to top it off, when I got home, I realized I left my garage door opener in the loaner car. I tried to call the service department even though by now it was after hours. I spoke with Jeff, who told me the service department was closed and he took my information down and told me I could expect a call the next day. I was really surprised to get a call from Jeff a few minutes later. He had managed to track down the loaner car and retrieve my garage door opener. I was able to pick it up immediately. I want you to know how excellent your staff is and to let them know how much I appreciate that they go above and beyond. As I said, I love my Mini. Because of your staff today, you have ensured a repeat customer. Believe me, I will share my experience with others. I brought my car in for service this Friday, April 5th. Kyle was my service advisor. He was engaging, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I brought my husband's car in for service on Monday, April 8. (We both love our Mini's.) I dealt with Kyle again. Again, he was professional and friendly. Kyle made a point to keep me informed of what was going on. He also gave me an accurate estimate on when the car would be ready. When I picked up the car, I was pleasantly surprised when Kyle greeted me by name. He has excellent customer service and I will make sure to ask for him whenever my cars need to be brought in for service. I really cut it close to closing time when I dropped off the loaner car and picked up my husband's car. I think it was 8 minutes to closing. No one made me feel rushed, which I appreciate. It isn't always easy to deal with that last minute customer. I didn't get the cashier's name, but she was also, to overuse the word, friendly. Then to top it off, when I got home, I realized I left my garage door opener in the loaner car. I tried to call the service department even though by now it was after hours. I spoke with Jeff, who told me the service department was closed and he took my information down and told me I could expect a call the next day. I was really surprised to get a call from Jeff a few minutes later. He had managed to track down the loaner car and retrieve my garage door opener. I was able to pick it up immediately. I want you to know how excellent your staff is and to let them know how much I appreciate that they go above and beyond. As I said, I love my Mini. Because of your staff today, you have ensured a repeat customer. Believe me, I will share my experience with others. 2.0"First it took over 1 and a half hours for a car wash, while others cars were finished before mine and I was there long before them. I was called in to get my wipers replaced according to my extended warranty. While I was there I was informed I didn't have the proper wipers to have them covered with said warranty. This was very disturbing since the salesman used the wipers as an example of why it was helpful to buy the warranty. He should have known and told me that the wipers were aftermarket and not covered. So it was basically a big waste of my time. It makes me wonder whatelse will not be covered on this warranty. Unfortunantely I won't know until something goes wrong. This is not what I expected when I pruchased the extended warranty. Hopefully no more unpleasant suprises." It's surreal because this is not the normal way of being treated anywhere. Kyle has taken very good care of me in the past. Marshall did a wonderful job on taking care of me and staying on top of everything. Especially keeping in touch with me and letting me know what was going on. This whole experience with my car getting repaired and then having an accident in one of the rentals has just stressed me out to no end. I'm still stressed out because it's still not over with just yet.
